The Central Government Railway Protection Force (RPF) has released the new RPF notification 2024 for constable and sub-inspector 4660 posts recruitment in railway departments across India. The RPF board aims to fill a total of 4660 vacancies, including 4208 constable posts and 452 sub-inspector (SI) posts.

RPF Constable and SI Eligibility

Candidates should meet the Railway Protection Force RPF constable and RPF SI (sub-inspector) education qualifications before applying to the RPF.

Education Qualification

Candidates before applying to RPF should meet the Railway Protection Force RPF constable education qualification and RPF SI (sub-inspector) education qualification.

For the post of Constable: the Candidate must complete 10th standard (Equivalent SSLC qualification) from a recognized education board.

For the Sub-inspector (SI): The Candidate must complete any Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college/university/institution.

Age Limit

The Age limit for RPF constable and SI Posts recruitment is a minimum of 18 Years of age and a Maximum of 25 years of age for All categories. The age relaxation ST/SC category is 5 years, the OBC category is 3 years, and the PWD candidate’s age relaxation is up to 10 years.  The RPF Application registration fees for General (unreserved) and Other backward Category (OBC) candidates is 500 rupees; ST, SC candidates, female candidates and Ex-Servicemen candidates pay a total of Rs 250. The payment method was available to pay online and offline mode.

RPF Exam Pattern 

RPF exam pattern for Constable and SI posts: The RPF Exam shall be a computer-based Test (CBT) with 120 questions and 1/3rd negative marks for each wrong answer. The CBT exam duration is 90 minutes.
